HONG KONG, March 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted southeast of the Loyalty Islands at 08:54:12 GMT on Friday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 22.5588 degrees south latitude and 174.4623 degrees east longitude.
