HONG KONG, May 31 (Xinhua) -- A magnitude-6.1 earthquake jolted 42km ESE of Pondaguitan, Philippines at 10:12:32 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 90.21 km, was initially determined to be at 6.2643 degrees north latitude and 126.5518 degrees east longitude.
