HONG KONG, March 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude jolted 140 km SSW of Kulumadau, Papua New Guinea, at 1248 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 10.1389 degrees south latitude and 152.0544 degrees east longitude.
