BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 09:56:40 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 104.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.1 degrees south latitude and 176.4 degrees west longitude.
