NEW YORK, July 7 (Xinhua) - A 6.9-magnitude earthquake jolted 129km WSW of Kota Ternate, Indonesia at 15:08:39 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 24.94 km, was initially determined to be at 0.545 degrees north latitude and 126.2284 degrees east longitude.
