6 Chinese join WorldSkills Competition 2022 in France

Bordeaux (People’s Daily) - Six Chinese contestants are participating in five contests at the WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition in Bordeaux, France, which replaced the Shanghai contest canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The five skill contests kicked off on Wednesday in a competition which is promoted as the Olympics of vocational skills for artisans: digital construction, health and social care, mechanical engineering computer-aided design, mobile robotics, and plastering and drywall systems. The contests run until Saturday.
More than 1,000 competitors from 58 countries and regions will participate in 62 skill competitions in 15 countries and regions between September and November.
