7 killed, 13 injured in bus crash in western India

At least seven people were killed and 13 others injured on Tuesday in a bus crash in western Indian state of Maharashtra, police said.
The accident took place in Kolpa area in Latur district, about 525 km east of Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra.
"Today seven people were killed and 13 others injured in an accident on the Latur-Nanded highway," a police official said. "The accident took place after two vehicles collided head-on with each other on the main road."
Police have registered a case and initiated investigations into the crash.
Deadly road accidents are common in India often caused due to overloading, bad condition of roads and reckless driving.
