Indonesian police on October 24 arrested nine alleged terrorists, including financier and the plotter of an attack on a police station, a senior police officer said.

Some other alleged militants planned to take parts in the attack, police spokesman Brigadier General Rikwanto said.
All of the nine militants were captured in the provinces of Central Java, East Java, South Sulawesi and Riau, the general said.
"The nine persons were arrested in four provinces," he said in a statement.
Muhammad Khoiruddin, captured in Kendal of Central Java province, allegedly provided funds for Hendro Fernando terrorist group linked with East Indonesian Mujahiddin group from 2015 to 2016, said Rikwanto.
Yoyok Handoko, alias Abu Zaid, was the plotter of the strike on a police station in Riau province, said Rikwanto.
Wawan, alias Abu Afif, and Beni Samsu Trisno, alias Abu Ibrohim, had instigated other militants to launch the attack, he added.
Police would conduct investigation and interrogation against the nine suspects.
