At least 10 people have drowned after a vessel carrying overloaded trucks lost balance and capsized in river Ganga in Bihar’s Katihar district, India, local media reported on Friday.
Local media said the cargo ship was carrying 18 trucks of stone chips and was on its way from Jharkhand’s Sahibganj to Manihari in Katihar district when the incident happened Thursday night.
So far, there is no information on the total number of people who were onboard.
