At least 30 dead in Suicide bomb attack on Kabul mosque

Islamabad, Oct. 20 (People's Daily) A suicide bomber reportedly detonated explosives inside Imam Zaman Mosque in Dasht-e-Barchi area in Kabul's Police District 13. An Afghan official at the interior ministry said the suicide bombing killed at least 30 people and wounded 45.

According to TOLO News, Hospital officials said two killed and 10 wounded have been taken to nearby health facilities in the west of Kabul city following the explosion. Eyewitnesses said women and children were among those who were killed and wounded in the mosque attack.

Kabul Police spokesman Abdul Basir Mujahid confirmed the explosion but said the type of the blast is not known so far.  No group has claimed responsibility so far.
