President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris were named Time Magazine’s “Person of The Year” for 2020, as they take over the White House during one of the most trying year’s in American history.

The magazine explained why they selected the two: “For changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world.”
