Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro was discharged from hospital on Saturday after he underwent a surgery on Friday to remove a bladder stone, Reuters reports.

The 65-year-old's health has been a matter of public concern since he was stabbed in 2018 during his campaigns.

He underwent four related surgeries after the incident.

The latest surgery was however not related to the 2018 incident, according to the Reuters report, which termed it a simple procedure.
