China and Japan agreed to ease restrictions on business travel imposed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic by the end of November, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday.

It's Wang's first visit to Tokyo since the COVID-19 pandemic.

At a joint press conference with Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, Wang said China will firmly defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, but China hopes to make the East China Sea "the sea of peace" through cooperation with Japan.
