China and South Korea will discuss the mutual recognition of health codes to control the spread of the coronavirus, a Chinese spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Both sides will also support the local vaccination for citizens from the other.

During the meeting between foreign ministers on Saturday, China and South Korea reached a consensus to strengthen exchanges at all levels between the two sides and enhance mutual trust, foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a routine press briefing.

Further plans will be made for the development of the bilateral relationship in the next 30 years, Zhao added. The two sides agreed to develop in-depth bilateral relations in regional economic partnership and cultural exchanges, and will make joint efforts to improve relations in the Korean Peninsula.
