Huang said that with the last batch of 50 ventilators, all 130 ventilators donated by the Chinese government have arrived in the Philippines. China looks forward to the early distribution of the ventilators to various medical institutions to help the Philippines fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Recently, Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Chinese drug Lian Hua Qing Wen to enter the Philippine market. It is believed that it will contribute to the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in this country and help patients with mild and moderate symptoms recover. China will continue to provide support and assistance to the Philippines,” Huang said.

On behalf of the Philippine government, Locsin thanked China for all its support and assistance to the Philippines in fighting COVID-19. “China's tremendous achievements in controlling the spread of the epidemic are worth learning from. The Philippines is willing to continue close cooperation with China to fully defeat the COVID-19,” Locsin said.
