Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend foreign ministers' meetings on East Asia cooperation via video link from September 9, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

Wang is attending at the invitation of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh.

The 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and related meetings will take place from Wednesday to Saturday via video conference under the chair of the Vietnamese minister.
