Just a few days after Pompeo was busy launching verbal grenades at China, CNN wrote a recent opinion piece, stressing that Pompeo is messing up his own work.

"In only two short years, Mike Pompeo has become not only the worst secretary of state in US history but also the most partisan," CNN said.

CNN also stated that Pompeo's creation of the so-called "Commission on Unalienable Rights" and his aggressive "human rights principles" were actually out of personal overweening political ambitions and ideological prejudices. He made no secret of his goal, and even used the resources of the US State Department to participate in the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa. This summit is recognized as a traditional event for putative Republican presidential candidates.

During Pompeo's recent visit to the United Kingdom, Pompeo slandered the WHO as a "political, not a science-based organization".

CNN pointed out that Pompeo has politicized the office of the secretary of state, which has tarnished the reputation of the State Department. Pompeo's various practices are far from the norms and values of the US State Department.
