COVID-19 cases in Nigeria grew with 10 new cases

On March 21, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced 10 new COVID-19 cases, making a total of 22 cases.

Of these 10 new cases, three are from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and seven are in Lagos, the largest city of Nigeria. it is also said that nine of the 10 patients have travel history outside of Nigeria in the last week and the 10th had a close contact with an earlier confirmed case.

The new cases represent the first single-day double break since the COVID-19 appeared in Nigeria, and the rate of increase has accelerated significantly.
