The flood situation in Assam, India, has deteriorated, with 10 regions reporting 12 new deaths. At present, the death toll caused by floods in the state has reached 151, the Assam Disaster Management Authority reported on Wednesday.

More than 3.15 million people in the 26 districts of Assam are still affected by floods, more than 300,000 people are still sheltering in 840 disaster relief camps, and 91,349.26 hectares of crops have been submerged.
