Death toll in minibus collision in Russia rises to 16

The death toll from a crash on Sunday involving a minibus and a truck in Russia's Ulyanovsk region has risen to 16, TASS reported citing local authorities.

There were 18 people on board the minibus, all of whom were citizens of Kazakhstan.

The investigation believed that the truck driver did not brake in time, causing the rear-end collision, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region.
