RABAT, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- The death toll on Sunday's bus accident near southeastern Morocco city of Errachidia has risen to 14, officials said.

Rescuers are still combing the region to find the missing people after rain storms unleashed flash floods that overturned the bus at a bridge on a river.

Initial reports said that 29 people were rescued.

Moroccan national television Aloula said a major operation involving helicopters, army and divers are searching the nearest dam lake of Hassan Adakhil for the missing people.

The government has rushed a delegation led by Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit to supervise research operations and oversee treatment to the injured at the hospitals.
