PYONGYANG, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The third Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was held here on Sunday, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Monday.

The SPA deputies discussed and adopted three laws on recycling resources, tele-education and providing living conditions for discharged officers. They also discussed the work of the cabinet and the state budget, the KCNA reported.

According to the report on the work of the Cabinet delivered at the session, last year, all sectors and units of the national economy carried out the gross yearly industrial production value at 108 percent, and ministries, national institutions, city and county people's committees and industrial establishments over-fulfilled their national economic plans.

The state budgetary revenue was implemented at 101.5 percent last year, up 5.3 percent from the previous year.

At the session, by-elections of the SPA Presidium and new appointments of the cabinet, including one vice premier and three ministers, were held.

The SPA usually meets in April every year to address the state budget and cabinet reshuffling.
