Egypt reports 29 new cases of COVID-19

Cairo (People’s Daily) -- 29 new cases of COVID-19 and one new fatality were confirmed in Egypt as of Friday evening.

The 29 new cases include 1 foreigner and 28 Egyptians, said a statement from the country’s health ministry.

The latest fatality was a 60-year-old Egyptian man who came back from Italy.

The number of cases has risen to 285 with the number of fatalities at 8, while 39 people have recovered.
