Egypt reports 33 new cases of COVID-19

Cairo (People’s Daily) -- Egyptian officials confirmed 33 new COVID-19 cases and four fatalities Sunday evening, in a statement issued by the country’s Ministry of Health. The number of cases has reached 327, including 14 deaths and 56 fully recovered patients.

Local media reported that Egyptian Major General Khaled Shaltout died of COVID-19 after participating in disease prevention efforts on the same day.
