Eight passengers of a jeepney were killed in the town of Tanay, Rizal Province, in the Philippines after they were swept away in a flash flood on Saturday night, local media reported citing the Tanay Municipal Police Station.

The victims were seven seniors and a 5-year-old.

The jeepney was carrying 25 passengers when the accident happened around 8:15 p.m.
