Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Wednesday, there have been 123,419,065 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,719,163 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 551,812 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 30,362,972 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Wednesday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 12,130,019 with 298,676 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 11,686,796 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 160,166.

Russia has recorded 4,424,595 confirmed cases and 94,231 deaths.

France has confirmed 4,373,596 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 93,063.

The UK has reported 4,320,996 COVID-19 cases and 126,523 deaths from the virus so far.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 105,875 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 3,408,772.

A total of 3,234,319 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 73,744.

It is followed by Turkey with 30,316 deaths from 3,061,520 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,689,205, with the number of deaths at 75,116, according to the JHU virus tracker.
