Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday, there have been 30,949,804 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 959,116 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 203,749 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 6,998,614 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 5,487,580 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 87,882.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 4,544,629 with 136,895 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 1,105,048 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 19,420.

Peru has reported 768,895 COVID-19 cases and 31,369 deaths from the virus so far.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 765,076, with the number of deaths at 24,208, according to the JHU virus tracker.

It is followed by Mexico with 73,697 deaths from 700,580 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 30,663 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 671,468.

South Africa has recorded 661,936 confirmed cases and 15,992 deaths.

A total of 640,147 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 13,482.
