Over 130 arrested during EU-wide action against human trafficking

More than 130 people were arrested and 60 new suspects were identified during a joint operation against human trafficking by European law enforcement and labor authorities, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement said the EU's border agency, Frontex, coordinated the operation between June 6 and 13 that involved 22 countries and Interpol, the international police organization.
