Malaysia reports 57 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 6,002

Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Malaysia reported 57 new cases and two deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections to 6,002, according to the country’s health ministry.

4,171 patients have recovered from the disease, and 36 remain in critical condition.

Malaysia is currently in the fourth phase of the movement control order (MCO), which is set to end on May 12.
