World Health Organization (WHO) experts tasked with investigating the origins of the novel coronavirus will fly to Wuhan, central China, on Thursday from Singapore, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian revealed at Tuesday's daily briefing.

Zhao did not provide further details on their itinerary.

China's National Health Commission (NHC) Monday announced WHO experts will come to China on January 14 to conduct joint research with Chinese scientists on the origin-tracing of the novel coronavirus, the third such visit since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
