HONG KONG, June 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 147 km ESE of Gorontalo, Indonesia at 02:23:43 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 63.96 km, was initially determined to be at 0.0496 degrees north latitude and 124.2913 degrees east longitude.
