At least nine people were killed and 24 others injured in a road accident in the Ramechhap district of Nepal on Tuesday morning.

Five men and four women died on the spot, and all the injured people were taken to hospital, Gita Bista Chaulagain, vice-chairperson of Sunapati Rural Municipality, said.
