US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office on Sunday released details of her upcoming Asia trip, which includes stops in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan. Notably, a visit to China's Taiwan is not mentioned.

According to the website of Pelosi’s office, the trip will focus on “mutual security, economic partnership and democratic governance” in the region. She will be accompanied with a delegation of five other members of Congress throughout the trip.
