BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted 43 km southwest of La Libertad, El Salvador at 0426 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 56.579 km, was initially determined to be at 13.1868 degrees north latitude and 89.5773 degrees west longitude.
