Israeli army carries out airstrike in Gaza: report

The Israeli Defense Forces carried out an airstrike in northern Gaza after Hamas reportedly shot a rocket towards Eshkol on Friday night, according to Jerusalem Post.
The Israeli army has so far not confirmed the attack, with unknown casualties so far.
Earlier, a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on Friday night and intercepted by Israel's aerial defense system.
The fire came about an hour after Israeli security forces captured two Palestinian prisoners who escaped on Monday from a prison.
