Fijian police announces major overhaul

SUVA, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Fijian Home Affairs Minister Pio Tikoduadua has announced an overhaul of the Fiji Police Force in a move to restore public trust and enhance professionalism.

​The minister said this initiative aims to enhance the capability, professionalism and integrity of the police force, reported Fiji Broadcasting Corporation on Friday.

He underlined zero tolerance for officers who fail to comply with their duties.
