PHNOM PENH, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni "falls ill, unable to carry out his royal duties," said a Ministry of Royal Palace statement on Friday.

The 72-year-old king assigned Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen to receive visiting Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary To Lam on his behalf, the statement said.
To Lam arrived in Cambodia on Friday morning for a one-day state visit at the invitation of King Sihamoni.
