NEW DELHI, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and 13 others injured in Saturday's building collapse in Kota in India's western state of Rajasthan, a government official said Sunday.

Briefing the media on the mishap, Kota's Divisional Commissioner Anil Agrawal said two dead bodies had been recovered from the site of the incident, adding that efforts were being made to identify the deceased.
Of the injured, two suffered serious injuries. "All injured persons are admitted to local hospitals," he added.
According to local media, the building houses an eatery on the ground floor. The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined.
Rescue work is still going on.
