Lebanon's Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Public Health, said that airstrikes on Aramoun and Saadiyat, south of Beirut, killed six people and wounded eight others, while rescue teams continued to search through the rubble at some of the targeted locations.
In eastern Lebanon, five people were killed and 15 others injured in another Israeli airstrike on a residential complex in the city of Baalbek, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The strikes were part of a series of intense Israeli air raids over the past hours, which also hit Beirut's southern suburbs.
