"Most have departed by land to Egypt, Jordan, and Türkiye, countries that have open airspace," Sheinbaum said during her daily press conference at the National Palace.

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the safe departure of the nationals from high-risk zones. The ministry reiterated that all Mexican embassies in the Middle East "remain vigilant and in continuous contact with nationals residing in or traveling through the region to provide required consular assistance."

Authorities have urged all Mexicans in the Middle East to stay in secure locations, avoid non-essential travel, and strictly follow instructions from local authorities amid the volatile security situation.
