Russia's first full-cycle test center for robotic and unmanned systems has opened in Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Wednesday.
The facility is designed to test a wide range of robotic and unmanned technologies, including systems used in logistics, transport, construction and monitoring.
Developers can apply for trials via an online platform, with applications reviewed under an expedited process that allows testing to begin within days, Sobyanin said.
The center supports trials in multiple environments, including indoor public spaces, open areas with varied surfaces, as well as water, underwater and aerial conditions, he added.
According to the mayor, the initiative is expected to accelerate the transition from prototype to mass production and serve as a key instrument to promote the development of domestic technologies.
