KATHMANDU, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Lawmakers of the newly elected House of Representatives of Nepal took the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony at the main administrative complex Singha Durbar on Thursday.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party emerged as the largest party, winning 182 seats in the 275-member parliament. The oath-taking ceremony marks the formal beginning of the new parliamentary term.
