The shipment, ordered by President Sadyr Japarov, comprises 66 tons of food, including flour, canned meat, and vegetable oil, as well as 63 tons of essential medicines. It has been loaded onto several heavy-duty trucks and prepared for transport to Iran, the ministry said in a statement.

The aid is intended to support affected civilians, the statement added.

Civilian casualties and damage are mounting in Iran amid ongoing hostilities. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said last week that at least 20 of Iran's 31 provinces have recorded casualties.
