BEIRUT, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's Hezbollah group said in a statement on Thursday that it fired rockets at northern Israel in response to "ceasefire violations."

Israel continued to bomb targets in Lebanon following a two-week ceasefire agreement reached by the United States and Iran. However, both Israel and the United States have maintained Lebanon is not included in the truce.
