ISLAMABAD, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan has prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure foolproof security for all visiting foreign guests, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Wednesday.

The statement came as Pakistan is set to host the "Islamabad Talks" between Iran and the United States aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East following the recently announced two-week ceasefire between the two countries.

According to Iranian Students' News Agency, Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf will head a negotiating team for talks with U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Islamabad.
