JERUSALEM, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military said on Tuesday that a reservist was killed in southern Lebanon.
The reservist was identified as Ayal Uriel Bianco, a 30-year-old firefighting vehicle driver from Katzrin in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights. The military said that he was killed "during combat," without elaborating.
Israel's state-owned Kan TV news reported that Bianco died in a Humvee rollover accident. In the same incident, another reservist was moderately injured, and two reservists were lightly injured.
Israeli ground forces made an incursion into Lebanon in early March after Hezbollah fired rockets toward Israel amid the U.S.-Israel-Iran war.
