TEHRAN, April 16 (Xinhua) - A member of the Presidium of the Iranian Parliament said on Thursday that Iran seeks a "regulatory role" in the Strait of Hormuz, rather than creating "disruption or extortion," according to the ISNA News Agency.
Current revenue from managing maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz is estimated to be between 10 billion U.S. dollars to 15 billion dollars, the member of the presidium said.
