Writers from China, Poland discuss literature, technology at Warsaw event

Warsaw (People's Daily) - More than 100 Polish readers attended the Reading China: Writers in Dialogue event in Warsaw on Monday where Chinese and Polish writers discussed literature, technology and cross-cultural exchange.

During an interactive session at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, authors Liu Tong, Chen Qiufan and Liang Qingsan engaged with the audience on science fiction, the relationship between literature and technology, and cross-cultural communication.

The event aimed to strengthen cultural ties between China and Poland through storytelling and exchange.

Organized by the China Writers Association's International Cooperation Department, the Chinese Embassy in Poland, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Polish Chinese Literature Readers Club and Global News Publishing Development Company, the event invited guests including Chinese Embassy Counsellor Wei Jiao, SWPS University Humanities Dean Marcin Jacoby, Polish Writers' Association Warsaw branch chairman Zbigniew Zbikowski, sinologist Malgorzata Religa and Dialogue Academic Publishing House head Andrzej Parzymies.
