The infant, according to the statement, was kidnapped from a civil hospital in the province a month ago. After receiving a complaint and registering a case, police were able to locate and rescue the child on Tuesday.

The child, who is in good health, was handed over to his family, the statement said, adding that police would spare no effort to ensure law and order in the province.
