According to Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the provincial police command, the incident occurred in Yawan district, where a vehicle veered off the road.

Kamgar said two individuals lost their lives at the scene, while another person sustained serious injuries and was transferred for medical treatment.

Deadly road accidents remain a persistent problem in war-torn Afghanistan, often attributed to deteriorating road conditions, reckless driving, and inadequate safety measures amid the country's challenging terrain and limited infrastructure.
